Susan Klas, PTA
“I am passionate about my job and always strive to be a better clinician. I truly believe; ‘attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.’ Every patient has a chance to get better, it’s our job to help them on the way.”
Susan earned her associates degree in physical therapy from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1997 and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the orthopedic section. Previously she worked at an outpatient clinic for Associated Physical Therapists of Milwaukee for 20 years. Susan uses her experience in manual therapy, myofacial release, muscle energy, correcting muscle imbalances, posture, and gait to allow the patient to become more functional. Susan also teaches Pilates at SPORT Clinic to facilitate increased core strength and improve posture with the use of a reformer.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys dance roller-skating, gardening, travelling and quality time with family. She has been a volunteer for injured players in Women’s and Men’s Leagues Roller Derby since 2009, assisted locally and at the World Cup Playoffs.
