Mac Wheeler, PT, DPT
“My favorite thing about physical therapy is getting to know my patients and helping to develop an individualized treatment program to meet their unique life goals. Physical therapy requires teamwork from both the patient and PT to deliver the best outcomes!”
Mac graduated from Marquette University with a double major in Biomedical sciences and Spanish for the Health Professions, earning his DPT also from Marquette University. “During my years in PT school, I devoted time to providing free medical care for underserved communities both locally at Marquette’s Pro Bono Physical Therapy Clinic and abroad with Hearts in Motion providing PT for communities in Guatemala.”
Previously, Mac played Division I soccer at Marquette University as a Goalkeeper from 2012-2016 and has transitioned into coaching with the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Cardinal Stritch University.
Mac has a special interest in working with field sport athletes specifically with the important transition from the initial injury phase back to playing their sport with confidence to compete at their highest level.
Mac enjoys playing soccer, basketball, strength training, trying new foods, and traveling both domestically and internationally!
