“Growing up I was heavily active in soccer and softball – and its fair share of injuries and physical therapy visits. I see now the effects of not maintaining a home exercise program as a young athlete. The experiences and relationships that I developed with my physical therapist over the years made me realize that this was the career path for me.
Working at SPORT Clinic challenges me everyday. It allows me to think on my feet, be creative with exercises and gain more knowledge from its very knowledgeable staff.”
Emily grew up near Rochester, Minnesota with her parents and two brothers. After graduating high school she attended the University Wisconsin-Platteville where she graduated with a bachelors of science (BS) degree in biology. Shortly after, she continued her education at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College receiving an associates of science (AS) degree as a physical therapy assistant. She completed three clinic rotations ranging from inpatient rehab, acute care and outpatient clinics.
SPORT Clinic PT was Emily’s third clinic rotation and she never left!
Emily is a Minnesota native but a Packers fan at heart. In her spare time she loves to spend time hiking, adventuring to new state parks, rock climbing indoors and outdoors and doing weekend camping trips.
