John Hendrickson, PT

John Hendrickson, PT
Clinic Owner - Director of Physical Therapy

"I was inspired to become a physical therapist when I was a young boy as I watched my brother go through physical therapy to recover from a serious, life-changing accident. I knew I had chosen the right path because physical therapy incorporated exercise and manual therapy - hands-on care - to help people overcome pain and loss of function.

"I started the Clinic in1984 so that physicians could refer patients directly to my Clinic for physical therapy. The practice has evolved and the entire SPORT staff shares this philosophy and dedication to helping others. I hope you'll give us the opportunity to be your physical therapist."

John is a 1978 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with extensive postgraduate training in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation as well as injury prevention. John is past president of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association and Private Practice Section of the APTA. He is currently a physical therapy consultant for the Milwaukee Brewers.
